Feedback And Recovery

Make post-appointment follow-up feel considered, not administrative.

Square handles appointments, but it does not expose a first-class feedback flow we can rely on for tattoo and piercing follow-up. This route gives Baron Art a direct feedback and recovery system tied to the studio, artist, service, structured visit signals, and the exact kind of support the guest wants next.

What the system captures

  • How did the appointment feel overall?: Capture an overall rating plus focused signals for communication, comfort, and aftercare clarity.
  • Would the client recommend the studio?: Separate repeatable praise from cases that need active recovery or a callback.
  • What stood out during the visit?: Give guests one place to explain what felt strong, what felt rough, and what the team should know next.
  • Can the studio follow up or reuse the quote?: Collect follow-up topic, contact preference, and testimonial permission as separate decisions.

How this connects to booking

  • Flash Tattoo: Keep the handoff instant and inventory-led.
  • Custom Tattoo: Turn the contact form into a guided intake.
  • Piercing: Keep location context visible until the booking handoff.

Square integration finding

  • Square sandbox location reads work with the configured token.
  • Bookings endpoints currently fail because this sandbox merchant is not onboarded to Square Appointments.
  • Square does expose booking events and webhook subscriptions, which is enough for future automated follow-up triggers.
